music of "Nanga Parbat " movie

Very interesting for my feeling:

This song is from Gustavo Santaolalla, an argentinian musician (see also Wikipedia). The mountain in the video is Nanga Parbat, first summited by Hermann Buhl in 1953, later also by Reinhold Messner and his brother Günther who died by an avalanche in the Diamir Face during the descent.

Hey Triebun,

I agree, it's a great feeling when standing on the top of a mountain which I have reached with my own power. My dream is Kilimanjaro which is about 6.000 m. The expedition is not so expensive and can be done with much less money (3.000 € or so). A few years ago my dream was Mount Everest, too, but honestly, I have not enough climbing experience to survive this mountain Wink. K2? Never, it is the most dangerous mountain of all 14 peaks with heights about 8.000 m. So I continue dreaming, but dreams can also be very nice. And reading books and watching movies about Mount Everest and K2. I have a lot of them Smile.

Hi Flatland KillYa!,

I'm pretty sure that you have no idea what professional mountain climbers like Triebun and me are talking about. The highest point where you are living ist definitively the McDonalds sign that can already be seen from a distance of 5 km or so ...

lol!
