Radeon or Geforce?
Hi friends!
I would like to replace my broken gf8800gts. I don't need more power. What is your choice ? Ati or nvidia? Let it be as good as my old card.
Speak to me killers!

Re: Radeon or Geforce?
Hey man, good to hear that
I do not know how much you will spend on a new card, so I took a look around, what could be a good compromise in costs and power.
Take a look at the Nvidia GTX 550ti card. (I don't like ATI, so no idea what they produce..)

Have a good day!

Re: Radeon or Geforce?
Hi Leroy,
please provide your system spec. A decision on a new graphics card strongly depends on your PC hardware and favorized screen resolution.

Nichts desto trotz, ich könnt ja meine Hardware mal in das richtige Forum reinposten,
nur ist das nen höllenkreislauf, weil mir sonst wieder der dauerposter vorgeworfen wird....

Re: Radeon or Geforce?
Hi Konsol,
if you don't need more graphics power go for a Nvidia GTX 460 (I have a very silent one from Gigabyte) und you'll be happy. It's strong and needs only little power. Or try to get a Nvidia GTS 250 which is weaker as a GTX 460 but as powerful as the old GTX9800+ and very cool (basically, a GTS 250 is a pimped up 9800+).

Re: Radeon or Geforce?
My configuration:
ASUS M4N68T V2, AMD Phenom II X2 555, 4GB Ram and power supply 400W.
My old geforce was a high class card and even now i can play games like sniper ghost warrior in high details.
GTS 250 is too weak for me.I thought about GTX460 (maybe gtx450), but from Gigabyte, Palit or something else?
Of course if my PC is good enough to turn this card on..
...yeah i know...my english
...by the way...I want to play!!!....
